Safety Guidelines
Keep these products out of the reach of
children and pets.
Do not take internally. Avoid contact
with eyes and mucous
membranes.
Do not apply citrus oils, especially Bergamot,
before direct exposure to
the sun.
Keep containers tightly closed when not
in use and keep oils away
from heat and light as they will evaporate,
but don't refrigerate.
Skin test oils before using. Dilute
a small amount and apply to the
skin of your inner arm. Do not use
this oil if redness or irritation occurs.
Discontinue use if you have any adverse
reaction.
If you have moderate to severe high
blood pressure, avoid these oils:
Hyssop, Peppermint, Pine, Rosemary, Sage
(Spanish and common)
and Thyme.
If you have Epilepsy, avoid the
following oils: Fennel (sweet), Hyssop,
Rosemary and Sage (Spanish and common).
If you have Diabetes, avoid Angelica,
Clary Sage, and Rosemary oils.
If you have Kidney disease, avoid
Juniper and Rosemary oils.
PREGNANCY:
1st trimester: Tangerine
is the only e/oil that can safely be used, and
only at 1/3 of the normal application.
2nd - 3rd trimesters: Lemon,
Neroli and Orange may be used at 1/3
of the normal application.
Also, Tangerine, Grapefruit, Lavender,
Roman Chamomile, and Sandalwood
may be used at 2/3 of the
normal application.
3rd trimester: In addition
to the above listed oils, Rose and Jasmine
may be used at 2/3 of the normal
application.
